On Sunday morning, Kindergarten through 4th grade have two Kid’s K.L.U.B. times to choose from, 9:45 and 11:15. The virtue we are learning about from the Bible this month is PEACE. We are going to spend August looking at several people in the Bible and how they demostrated the virtue of PEACE.
Each worship experience includes singing, offering time for our missionaries, prayer, communion for kids who take it and the Bible lesson. The music and story telling are designed to connect with kids so they can connect with God.
For kids who attend more than one hour, they are welcome to go to adult worship with their parents one hour and Kid’s K.L.U.B. the other hour. They can also attend two hours of K.L.U.B. worship. The 9:45 hour is on the same topic but has a lot more small group time with completely different small group activities than 11:15.
There is a take home paper called the “Refrigerator Door” that helps parents see what we cover. This helps initiate more talk about what kids are learning. The paper can be used during the week to review the lesson. We also have a “Treasure Box” in each classroom the teachers use to reward kids for lots of different things.
