If you are planning to come check us out in person here are few things that will help you know what to expect.
When you come to Christ’s Church of Oronogo, you can expect to
encounter knowledgeable, welcoming people to direct you to our “Quick
Check – First Time Visitor Check-in station.” There you will fill out an information card &
receive name badges with an ID code for your child. You will also
receive a parent badge with the same ID code. You will be required to
show this badge when you pick up your child. This ensures that all
children leave only with the right people. This same ID code will be
displayed in our sanctuary during worship services if your child needs
you during the service.
After you have gone through the check-in process, you will be
directed to the age-appropriate classroom or area in the Kid’s Worship
room for your child. There, our trained, loving volunteers will greet
your child and assist with any separation anxiety. It is important to
remember that children handle this in different ways. Some children
are eager to see what new experiences are all about; others are not so
eager to leave the comfort of family. Please rest assured that our
teachers want your child to participate, even if they are struggling.
We commit that we will contact you if your child needs you.
Our trained volunteers will do their best to answer any questions
you have. We want you to feel very comfortable leaving your child with
us, so that you can enjoy our worship service and classes to the
fullest.
Our hall monitors or greeters will be glad to check on your child for you any time during the services.
We ask that you please assist greeters with drop-off & pick-up times by showing your ID tag you received at check-in.
We can’t wait to serve you!
